16T Submarine Hydraulic Excavator

This underwater excavator was developed from a JCB JS160NLC as a remote hydraulic excavator designed for operation in shallow water. The excavator pilot is operating from a sheltered surface control room at umbilical distance from the work site. This excavator can perform heavy works (dredging, drilling, piling, cutting of structure, etc...) up to 100 m water depth (with minor adaptation).  

This equipment can be launched directly from the shore or from a support vessel.
