16T Submarine Excavator

Underwater excavator developed from a JCB JS160NLC as a remote hydraulic excavator designed for operation in shallow water.  

The excavator pilot is operating from a sheltered surface control room at umbilical distance from the work site. This excavator can perform heavy works (dredging, drilling, piling, cutting of structures, etc...) up to 100m water depth (with minor adaptation).

This equipment can be launched directly from shore or from a support vessel.
