Recently upgraded Telecom Plough available for immediate sale. This plough is capable of burial of cables up to 80mm with maximum depth of 1 metre. System comprises plough, winch and HPU, topside controls, tow wire, etc. See below for further information.

Details

This low‐cost submarine telecommunications cable burial system is able to operate on the beach and in water depths up to >100m. The plough is intended for simple, generally unrepeatered systems where favourable ploughing conditions are expected.

The plough was upgraded in 2018/19. The upgrade was to provide a deeper operational depth (>100m) by the fitting of a subsea hydraulic motor, extended skids, an improved control system including a new umbilical and umbilical winch, and improved storage frame.
