Electro-Mechanical Anchor Windlass

This Model 20940 Anchor Windlass System is designed to hoist an anchor chain with a 4,000lb anchor, and to serve as a mooring and warping capstan. The system is an independent, two speed, reversible unit. The anchor windlass system is designed for both port and starboard installations, the differences being the orientation of the gearbox in the manual brake linkage, and length of the manual brake shaft.

The anchor windlass is driven by a power train consisting of electric brake, motor, torque limiter coupling and planetary gear reducer, mounted vertically below the anchor windlass. A pinion conveys gear reducer output to the low speed gear attached to the bottom of the capstan shaft.

On the original factory pallet and has never been used. This is the Right side only.
