6x MacGregor 85Te Mooring Winch System

MacGregor Hydramarine Plimsoll 6 point hydraulic mooring winch system, model PC-HMW/SD-85/150, manufactured 2007 by Plimsoll Corporation Pte Ltd, Singapore.

System Configuration:

• 6 hydraulic mooring winches (3 right hand, 3 left hand)
• 6 point mooring arrangement: 2 forward, 2 midship, 2 aft

Winch Specifications (per unit):

• Rated pull: 85Te x 12 m/min (1st speed), 50Te x 19 m/min (2nd speed), 28Te x 32 m/min (3rd speed)
• Drum capacity: 1500m x 52mm dia SWR @ 11 layers
• Brake holding: 150Te static, 1st layer
• Brake: Hydraulically released, spring applied, fail safe type
• Clutch: Hydraulically operated jaw clutch
• Drag brake: Air operated, 10Te x 100 m/min (1st layer)
• Spooling device fitted
• Estimated weight: ~20 tonnes per winch

Hydraulic Power Packs:

• Power rating: 3 x 90kW (200 LPM @ 250 bar) + 1 x 7.5kW pilot pump
• Tank capacity: 2100 litres
• Supply: 415V, 3 phase, 50Hz

• Local control console at each winch
