Hydraulic Gravity Corer Chute with 5 Te working load limit available for sale (Ref.: DS61)
The Gravity Corer Chute assembly has been designed to launch and recover a dart core or a piston corer depending on the operation. The gravity corer chute assembly will luff in and out hydraulically via a double-acting hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder will be operated via a directional control valve. Please note that the directional control valve is not included in the scope of supply. All other functions of the gravity corer chute will be manually operated. The chute is swung outboard and manual locks are provided to secure the chute in various operating positions.

The double-acting hydraulic cylinder can be driven bi-directionally using a 3 position 4-way directional control valve (with spool A B to tank in the neutral position and P blocked), it is recommended that a proportional valve is used such that the speed of the Gravity Corer Chute can be controlled.
A locking pin secures the corer in the chute, preventing the corer from any uncontrolled movement/deployment whenever the cable is disconnected. An access door, fastened by a latch, enables access to the chute when loading/unloading the Corer.
