This horizontal 15Te Caterpillar twin-track tensioner system is capable of handling flexible pipe, umbilicals, cables and steel pipe from 50mm to 430mm diameter. The track grip force is applied by two hydraulic cylinders attached to the movable track frame. The system is supplied with a standalone electric hydraulic power unit and is operated and monitored remotely from within a control cabin.

A remote control stand situated in the control cabin displays grip pressure, system pressure, distance, speed and tension. An optional external LCD display unit is available. Various alarm modes may be set as required.
