Details

A lightweight aluminium towing winch for survey and towed sensor work. The compact footprint suits small boats, and it is equally at home on larger offshore vessels. A 5kW VFD, independent powered levelwind and combined electrical and single mode fibre slip ring make it a ready package for towfish and similar fibre optic tows.

It comes fitted with 800m of armoured fibre/ductcore cable, including 200m of hairy fairing to reduce drag under tow. Control is by local panel, control room HMI or remote, and a sheave wheel is supplied. A 3D CAD model is available on request for deck layout planning.
