The 10 Te Triple Section Drum Winch comprises of three drums that are supplied with eleven suitable machined helical grooves, the wire exits each drum by a bottom rear exit and is secured to each drum by three suitable fixings, this allows each drum section to pull 10 Te simultaneously.

The winch drum is driven directly from a Bonfiglioli gearbox, hydraulic motor and load valve combination. The brake, being failsafe, always defaults to on should, for any reason, electrical supply is lost or the control joystick is in its centre position. The non-drive side housings a bearing and a slipping.

The Winch assembly has been fitted with sprung single retaining roller assembly, to prevent the wire rope from "bird caging" should the wire become slack for any reason, this has been fitted to each drum section.
